Sully

I spent the past 2 weeks in Orange County with my whole family and new nephew - Stavros Sullivan Tassos ("Sully"). He is the pure definition of preciousness. See for yourself below!

Meeting him for the first time - checking each other out!
Sisters.
This is how he insists on holding his hands - all the time. (as you'll see throughout this post!)
He spits up so much, and it's been so hot, that we keep in mostly in a diaper and blanket. It makes his outfits all the cuter!
Out to eat after church the first Sunday.
He makes this face alllll the time!
Just hanging out... and likely pooping given his face right here.
Relaxing on mommy
I took the early morning shift (4-8am) most days which I loved as that's one of the best times of the day for him! He's quite photogenic in the mornings as evidenced by these shots!

This was right before we headed out to the Cabazon outlets - apparently not so happy about his first shopping trip.
Kates was a champ - so far from home - and soooo hot! Sully did great!
Shopped til he dropped.
Aunt love.

Look at that face!!!

His neck is so strong - loves to sit and hold his head up for a long time! Just 4 weeks old here.
Sadly, this is as close as we got to a picture of the whole family. Sully's in the carrier on the floor - and Mom and Dad and I are in the mirror!
I spent Friday and Saturday with Chels - waaaay too short of a time but she and Kyle land in London tomorrow so it made it easy to say goodbye!
Met up with Jaime and Mike for lunch at Zov's.
It takes a village. Haha.
Loves having his hands held. Many an hour spent in this position keeping him happy.
I look like I'm about to cry - ha. It's due to the present he was leaving in his diaper and the resulting fumes.
JUST THE SWEETEST FACE IN THE WORLD.
Allison doing whatever it takes to keep him happy (before we got him medicine for his reflux) - laps around the house.
So cuddly!
Pretty much the story of the whole 2 weeks!
Talking to Mommy!
Just hanging out on the couch
He's so funny how he just chills like this
Yep. In heaven.
3 generations of Tassos men - and the grandpa that Sully is named after (Steve = Stavros in Greek)
Memorial day barbeque with Chris' parents.

Allison my chauffeur. I had a bachelorette party AND wedding 2 hours away (one way). She drove me all over the greater LA area in rush hour traffic. Not for the faint of heart!
I'm horrible - didn't take but this one picture during Kat's wedding!
Allison photo-bombing!
Hanging out with grandpa

My last morning shift with the little man. Nothing sweeter than this face.
Holding him every last second leading up to the drive to the airport :( It was so hard to leave!! LOVE him!

So behind.

Ahhh I'm so behind. Here's a (massive) phone dump... coming to you specially from London, Dover and Monaco!!

Starting off by keeping it real. I know I tend to only highlight my trips and weekend fun on here, but rest assured there's a lot of hard work going on as well! This is Big Ben striking midnight on my cab ride home. Par for the course for the past 4 months (worst busy season to date).
If you know my dad at all, you understand how HILARIOUS this email is. Favorite email of my life. Bless his heart, he often sits at home and fast forwards commercials for me when I watch the bachelorette on slingbox, and he just managed to get hooked this past season! Hahahahaha!

Taking a break from work for a normal Friday night - with the Americans at Belgo in Covent Garden.
Margaret Thatcher's funeral procession passed right by our office, so we popped down to watch it go by. Marching band led the way.
Look at all the onlookers!
There's the coffin!

Headed toward St Paul's... the atmosphere was quite interesting. LOTS of booing and backs turned when the coffin passed by. Media coverage did not capture that at all - she was so controversial of a figure!
Hayley's 2nd to last day at Deloitte - we took her out to give her our going away present (brand new Hunter wellies). We miss you Hayes - our girls lunches just aren't the same without you!
Katie went into labor in the middle of the night her time, but it was morning for me so we were texting back and forth. Below is her take on it - haha!
Getting my daily facetime fix with the little guy!  I LOVE HIM!

He's clearly not interested in what I have to say.
Is he not the most perfect thing you've ever seen?! Can't wait to get my hands on him - 5.2 more days.
A few weeks ago, I went hiking along the white cliffs of Dover with Liz's Australian crew. It was the most gorgeous day!! This picture has no filter - BLUE sky and WHITE cliffs! Beautiful!
Hiking along... the whole day was 17k in total.

From above!

We stopped for a breather at a lighthouse along the way. Love the flag here!
"The Aussies and the token" - as they titled this shot. (token american - ha!)
A bunch of us at work all hit our big deadlines around the same time, so we decided one day to treat ourselves to a nice long lunch, and then an afternoon in the sun at one of London's new rooftop venues.  It was such a good day!
The next morning, Suz and I flew to Monaco! Jess was out there for work so Suz and I decided to crash with her for the long bank holiday weekend! We took a helicopter from Nice to Monaco.
Suz's first time in a helicopter :) Sooo exciting :)
Monaco is beautiful from above!
The view from the hotel room - upon arrival.

So typical. You ask someone to take a picture and all you get is 50 feet of the ground beneath your feet! Ughh!!
You can't read it very well, but that white sign behind Suz is the Grand Prix sign! The race was just 2 weeks away.
Met up with Jess (and the team) for lunch with the most amazing view!
Lifesize pepper shaker!
The desserts were to DIE FOR!
After lunch, we explored Monte Carlo - here's the famous casino!
The famous hairpin turn from the Grand Prix track
Walking back to the hotel - so happy to be in the land of sun, warmth, beautiful views and yachts.
We went to a steak place called Beef Bar for dinner - amazing!
As was the carmel soufflé we had for dessert!!
We spent the entire next day here - the beach at Villefranche!
It was so picturesque!
Lunching on pizza overlooking the water. I couldn't have been happier.
Suz soaking it all in.
On last parting shot before boarding the train back to Monaco.
The next day, Liz and her friends (who were having a girls weekend in Nice) came up to Monaco for the day. We hiked up to the palace, which had views overlooking the harbor. I love these girls.
Monaco - such a unique skyline / look.

One of my favorites - amazing view, and you can see the grandstands all set up for the Grand Prix!

All dressed up for our last dinner!
That's all for now!
